London-based designer Gyunel will be collaborating with Geneva-based jeweller-watchmaker De Grisogono again this year for their annual party at Cannes Film Festival 2015. Celebrity VIPs will be wined and dined by their host De Grisogono, and will also enjoy a catwalk, showcasing the Gyunel Couture 2015 collection and De Grisogono ‘divine’ high jewellery creations.
There will be a total of 16 monochrome gowns in the fashion show, some of which will feature exclusive floral prints designed and created in-house from Gyunel’s own oil paintings. This collection has a ‘Femme Fatale’ theme, featuring elegantly feminine silhouettes. Dresses will be created with Gyunel signature silks, and opulent lace with hints of applique, to continue with the discrete floral tones that flow throughout the collection.
Gyunel first collaborated with jeweller De Grisogono last year for Cannes Film Festival 2014. She created a line of white couture dresses inspired by Grecian goddesses featuring luxurious fabrics and delicate hand embroidery.
